- 22 × waterproof plasters
- 1 × plastic nail scraper
- Manufacturer's patient information leaflet
How the treatment works
Four stages, roughly two to four weeks of daily application, then regrowth.
01
Soften the infected nail
The 40% urea ointment breaks down keratin in the diseased nail. Applied under a waterproof plaster it works for a full 24 hours at a time.
02
Scrape the nail away
After a 10-minute soak the softened nail lifts away with the supplied scraper. It should never hurt — if it resists, apply again the next day.
03
Expose the nail bed
Removing the infected nail takes away the material the fungus lives in and lets air and any follow-on treatment reach the nail bed.
04
Let a healthy nail grow
A new nail grows back over several months. Keep feet dry, change socks daily and disinfect footwear to prevent reinfection.

Finally found it in stock
I'd been trying to buy this for months — every pharmacy near me was out. Ordered here on a Tuesday afternoon and it arrived Thursday morning. Nail was fully removed in about three weeks.
Worked exactly as described
Took about 18 days for my big toenail. Completely painless, just be patient and do it every single day without skipping.
Good, but be consistent
It does work but you have to keep the plaster on properly. I lost two days early on because the plaster came off in the shower.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the treatment take?
Most people remove the infected nail within two to four weeks of daily application. The healthy replacement nail then takes three to twelve months to grow out fully, depending on whether it is a fingernail or toenail.
Does it hurt?
No. The ointment softens only the diseased nail, which is then scraped away. If scraping is painful you are working on healthy nail — stop and reapply the next day.
Can I use it on more than one nail?
One set contains enough ointment and plasters to treat a single affected nail. Order an additional set for each further nail.
Is this genuine Canespro?
Yes. We are an independent UK retailer selling genuine, in-date stock supplied through UK channels, shipped in the manufacturer's sealed packaging with the original patient leaflet.
When will my order arrive?
Order before 3pm on a working day and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery arrives in 2–3 working days; next-day delivery is available at checkout.
Do you deliver discreetly?
Every order is sent in plain outer packaging with no product name or medical wording on the outside.
Can I use it if I am diabetic?
Speak to your GP, pharmacist or podiatrist before treating any foot condition at home if you are diabetic or have reduced circulation.
What if it is out of stock?
We hold buffer stock specifically because this product is often unavailable elsewhere. If stock ever runs out, join the restock alert on the product page and you'll be emailed the moment it lands.
Can I buy Canespro over the counter in the UK?
Yes. It is a pharmacy product available without a prescription, though availability on the high street is inconsistent.
How long does one set last?
One set contains enough ointment and plasters for a full course on a single nail — typically two to four weeks.
Does Canespro cure the infection?
It removes the infected nail, which is the reservoir of the infection. Preventing reinfection while the new nail grows is what determines the final result.
Learning centre
Independent, plainly written guidance on fungal nail infection and treatment.
What causes fungal nail infections?
Fungal nail infection — onychomycosis — affects roughly one in ten UK adults and up to half of people over 70. It is caused by microscopic fungi that feed on keratin, the protein your nails are made of.

How Canespro works
Canespro takes a different approach to paint-on treatments: instead of trying to penetrate a thick, infected nail, it dissolves that nail away so the infection has nowhere left to live.

Canespro treatment timeline
Two questions come up more than any other: how long until the nail is gone, and how long until it looks normal again. They have very different answers.

Common Canespro mistakes
The set works reliably when it is used exactly as directed. Almost every complaint of slow progress traces back to one of these.

Preventing reinfection
Reinfection is common because the environment that caused the first infection usually has not changed.
